The Combating Violence Against Women (CVAW) Unit of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in partnership with AICS and with the technical support of UNFPA established a gender-based violence (GBV) Helpline for Case Management, a clear mechanism to facilitate access for survivors of GBV to phone-based health, security and legal services, including referrals and tele-counseling. The social workers that will answer the calls have direct access to state focal points for referral to available services for case-management at state-level.

The center provides free, professional and confidential specialized services such as psychological treatment and psychosocial support for individuals exposed to trauma and difficult experiences. The service is available from 9 am to 3 pm
